- What size should I order?
- Whichever size the listing is — each one is a single second-hand garment in a single size, so the size is part of the object rather than an option attached to it. Sizes across the shop run S to XXL as they were labelled at the time, which means a 1990s L is cut differently from a modern L. We hold no chest or length measurements for these garments and do not publish a size chart, because inventing figures we never recorded would be worse than saying so.
- What condition are the shirts in?
- They are between one and roughly thirty-five years old and they look it, to varying degrees. Where a garment has a fault — a lifted letter, a pull in the mesh, a mark, a collar that has lost its spring — it is written on the listing. Where a listing records no faults, nothing was found worth writing down. We do not award letter grades or stars: a single letter hides exactly the detail you would want before spending money.
- Can I add a name and number?
- No. Heat-pressing a name onto a thirty-year-old shirt is not something we do, so no listing offers printing or badges. Where a shirt already carries a player name and number, it was printed when the shirt was made and is described on the listing.
- The same shirt appears several times — why?
- Because they are different shirts. Listings from one kit sit together, and two of them can share a size while differing in price, player printing and condition: a 2013-14 Barcelona away in XXL with one player's name is not the same object as another XXL from that kit. Each listing is priced and described on its own.
- How long does shipping take?
- Orders are dispatched in 1-2 days and typically take 3-4 days in transit. Delivery is free on every order, to every country we ship to, with no minimum. The exact figures are confirmed at checkout.
- What's your returns policy?
- You have 14 days from delivery to send a shirt back, and it needs to be on its way inside that period rather than merely requested inside it. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the shirt reaching us. There are no size exchanges, because each listing is a single garment — a different size is a separate purchase. Where local consumer law gives you more than this, the law wins.
- How can I pay?
- Major debit and credit cards, and PayPal. Accepted options are always shown at checkout.
- Are these official club products?
- Retro Shirts Store sells unofficial, unlicensed second-hand merchandise. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any football club, league, or federation. Club names and crests identify whose shirts these are and which season they come from, and the shirts carry the crests they were manufactured with — none of which implies official status.

- Can I track my order?
- Yes — once your order ships you'll receive a tracking link by email. If it hasn't arrived or the tracking looks stuck, contact us with your order number and we'll chase it up.
